Celebrate the educators who go above and beyond in Tempe’s schools. The Excellence in Education Awards honor outstanding educators from all three local districts: Kyrene School District, Tempe Elementary School District, and Tempe Union High School District. Awards are presented across six categories, including the top honor—Teacher of the Year.

This year’s event will be hosted by media personality Mathew Blades, bringing his signature energy and passion for education to the stage.

We’ll also unveil the newest class of Tempe Diablos Scholars—exceptional students headed to ASU or Maricopa Community Colleges with Diablos scholarship support.
